Description: Painted from a photo. Big and fast I painted this, one day at the easel. Cassie was on the phone with her doctor. I dreaded those calls. She put the phone down slowly and sat there as I watched her in the afternoon light. When I went over to sit with her, she quietly said, “It doesn’t look good for me.” We held hands, held back tears, and I said, “I’ll put the kettle on.”

Description: I painted this during the making of the James Bond movie “Goldeneye.” At Leavesden Studios. I had one of the executive offices, which was my dressing room/studio for six months. Every day would be an ear plug day with the weapons and explosions. This was the illustration from the packet.
